Raising money for the Cairns Hospital and Hinterland Health Service
Why I'm participating:
In July 2017 I suffered a 'mild' heart attack and I was evacuated to Cairns on the Royal Flying Doctor service RFDS. The nurses and doctros of the Cardiac Unit were terrific. I had cardiac stents installed. I could not have wished for better care and treatment.
So this year 2018 I'm doing my 4th Cardiac Challenge to raise money for a very worthy cause.
In the 2018 Cardiac Challenge! I'll be joining about 300 riders cycling from Cairns to Cooktown to raise money for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation. Funds raised from the event will go towards the Cairns Hospital.
Sponsor me today for this great cause!
